Of course you do!

(At least one of the them.)

Then don’t just “do things”

We all start off doing things. As we progress, we begin to do things that matter. And then we do more of the things that matter. The catch is that the things you do are the things your boss tells you to do.

Create outcomes that matter!

Learn to create outcomes that matter. And what outcomes matter at work? Outcomes that impact results, positively.

But…

But, I hear people argue, you cannot make a difference like that unless you have the power and the authority. Maybe so. But there is one area where you surely have the power and the authority.

You have choice

You always have the power and authority to choose how you will react to the nonsense at work.

But why nonsense?

Because nonsense side-tracks you from your work, tricks you into wrong decisions, and trips you short of your goals. Nonsense is purely subjective: you are likely to see ‘nonsense’ when you disapprove of it.

Nonsense stops you from being successful.

The solution? Capitalise on nonsense!

Nonsense is always at work. It never stops. That’s the bad news. The good news is that there is always some sense in nonsense, if you look for it. And if you look for it, time and again you will find that you can make the nonsense at work work for you.

Here’s your bonus

Creating outcomes (results) that matter is highly satisfying and plainly visible.

Why me as your coach?

  • Because I have been coaching and advising executives and managers since 1990.

I gained practical experience as a CEO, an Executive, and as an Executive Board Member at different companies. And coaching experience? I worked as an independent coach, advisor and consultant to executives. Since 1990. On two continents, in multiple sectors, from advertising to wealth management.

Today I am still coaching and guiding managers (of people at any level) irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, geographic locale, or current role.

And because I understood the nature of nonsense in a flash when I saw lots of dung beetles active under the African sun. It was on the day when a lioness charged me. And when I had to run with elephants. It was a day of nonsense at work.
